The Moye Family - Wrightsville Beach Family Photography

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

I met the Moye family at Wrightsville for some family photos and John’s 2 yr photos. He was a baby planner, so I got to see him grow that first year.  But there is still a big difference in one year old and two years old - he looks so much older!  He was a typical 2 year old - constantly on the go! But we had fun, chasing him and him chasing the birds.

I met Colton and his parents at Wrightsville Beach a few weeks ago and found out we go to the same church! Small world.  Colton was alot of fun, even though he really wasn’t very interested in me.  He just wanted to play in the water and sand.  I was able to get a few good smiling shots with the help of my daughter and hubby, who would jump around and generally act silly behind me and the camera - but that only lasted a few seconds before he was off again to play!

At the end of our session (thankfully!), Colton discovered he liked playing in the wet sand! Wonder if that white shirt ever came clean?

Wrightsville Beach Family Portraits

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

I had the pleasure to photograph this perfect 2 year old and his family.  Yes, I said “perfect” and “2 yr old”! I normally discourage people from teaching their children to say “cheese”, because it usually results in fake, “cheesy” smiles.  But not Kendall!  He would say “cheese” and his whole face would light up!  It made my job really quite easy.  Thanks, Kendall!

A couple of Kendall’s mom & dad:

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

Griffin is my latest baby plan graduate.  We headed downtown for his one year session and had a lot of fun just walking around looking for good spots.  He is just as happy as he has ever been - smiling the whole time!  Happy birthday, Griffin!

Isabella

Friday, March 20th, 2009

Isabella turned 1 year old in December, but just had her one year old portraits done this past week.  She is an on-the-go ball of energy!  AND, she’s going to be a big sister very soon!  Good luck, Donna!  I can’t wait to meet the new arrival!  But, for now, here is Ms. Isabella.

Morgan - Wilmington, NC Child Photographer

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

This is Morgan, the day before her 3rd birthday.  She was so cute and “spunky” - definitely personality plus!  And she loved my daughter, who was a big help during the session.  This is just a few, but there are LOTS more.  Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Morgan!

Camden

Saturday, November 15th, 2008

Camden and his parents came in yesterday and although he wasn’t too thrilled with having his picture taken, we did get a few cute shots!  He was much more interested in playing with my daughter’s “Puppies in my Pocket”!

This first one is serious, but I always like a serious look.

And a family shot:

Brooks

Monday, September 29th, 2008

I met Brooks and his parents at Ft. Fisher on Saturday evening. It was an absolutely gorgeous afternoon at the beach!  Brooks seemed to really like my husband, Jeff, so I have to give him all the credit for the smiles!  Here are a few favs - the first one I couldn’t decide if I liked it better in color or black & white:

This one HAS to be in color!

And one so you can just see how cute Brooks is!

John turns 1!

Monday, September 1st, 2008

It seems like I’ve had quite a few 1 year olds, lately. Lots of baby planners having birthdays means balloons and cake! This little cutie is John and he was an absolute joy to work with. Actually, he has been a joy every time he has been in the last year! This first one in Daddy’s jacket, we had a hard time keeping it on him (the hat, too!), but I think it turned out great:

Then, we brought in the cake! He wasn’t really into smashing it, but he had fun, anyway.

Jacob

Monday, September 1st, 2008

I last saw Jacob when he was a month old:

Now he is almost 1 year old! Time flies by so quickly. He is such a cute and sweet little boy. Here is Jacob now:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JACOB!
