This is the 2nd time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family. They come from all over to vacation at Wrightsville Beach together and they have a ball! My husband said he wanted to be a part of their family! First, we did the grandparents with all the grandkids:

This is my husband’s aunt & uncle and their family - all together to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! We had a blast photographing them, dodging “severe” thunderstorms and eating yummy hamburgers!
At the end of the session, Uncle Elbert presented Aunt Marie with a surprise!
So, we had to do a few more with the ring:
I met the Moye family at Wrightsville for some family photos and John’s 2 yr photos. He was a baby planner, so I got to see him grow that first year. But there is still a big difference in one year old and two years old - he looks so much older! He was a typical 2 year old - constantly on the go! But we had fun, chasing him and him chasing the birds.
Ethan is another one of my baby planners and just turned a year old! He is always happy and smiling - lucky for me. We had a great time photographing him with his cake and balloons. He would rub the icing all over himself, like he was taking a bath in it! Needless to say, he “needed” a bath when we were done!
I had the pleasure to photograph this perfect 2 year old and his family. Yes, I said “perfect” and “2 yr old”! I normally discourage people from teaching their children to say “cheese”, because it usually results in fake, “cheesy” smiles. But not Kendall! He would say “cheese” and his whole face would light up! It made my job really quite easy. Thanks, Kendall!

This is 6 month old Madilyn. She is the cute cousin of one of my other baby planners, Steven. I was very flattered that she and her mom came from Chapel Hill to let me do her photos! Of course, they visit with their family while they are here, so it’s not ALL about me! I can’t wait to see Madilyn again at 9 months!
Steven is turning 1 year old, which makes him a baby plan graduate! He is always such a cutie and pretty easy to photograph. This time, his daddy got most of the big smiles by making Japanese “noises” - it was hilarious!

I met Audrey, her boyfriend and her parents at Wrightsville Beach on Monday afternoon and let me tell you - it was a COLD one! But they braved it out and we got some great shots. Here is a sneak peek for them:
I had fun photographing Lauren & her son, Jordan! It was a bit of a switch from my usual maternity and baby portrait sessions. They did what I asked and stayed still AND their were no stretch marks to photoshop afterwards!
Camden and his parents came in yesterday and although he wasn’t too thrilled with having his picture taken, we did get a few cute shots! He was much more interested in playing with my daughter’s “Puppies in my Pocket”!
