Charlotte - Wilmington, NC Baby Photography

Friday, June 26th, 2009

This is Charlotte, my newest baby plan member.  She came in for 6 month portraits and was just adorable - I fell in love with her eyes! She started to get sleepy about half-way through, so we waited to see if she’d fall asleep to get some sleeping shots. She came VERY close, but in the end, she was just too afraid she was going to miss something. On the upside, after a few minutes of “down time”, she was once again happy and smiling!  Meet Ms. Charlotte:

I met Colton and his parents at Wrightsville Beach a few weeks ago and found out we go to the same church! Small world.  Colton was alot of fun, even though he really wasn’t very interested in me.  He just wanted to play in the water and sand.  I was able to get a few good smiling shots with the help of my daughter and hubby, who would jump around and generally act silly behind me and the camera - but that only lasted a few seconds before he was off again to play!

At the end of our session (thankfully!), Colton discovered he liked playing in the wet sand! Wonder if that white shirt ever came clean?

This is Madilyn, 9 months old. She never fails to make me laugh during her sessions. She was quite happy, considering her LONG car ride to get here!  Such a pretty little girl…

A couple that made me giggle:

Ethan - One Year Old

Friday, June 26th, 2009

Ethan is another one of my baby planners and just turned a year old!  He is always happy and smiling - lucky for me. We had a great time photographing him with his cake and balloons.  He would rub the icing all over himself, like he was taking a bath in it!  Needless to say, he “needed” a bath when we were done!

Wrightsville Beach Family Portraits

I had the pleasure to photograph this perfect 2 year old and his family.  Yes, I said “perfect” and “2 yr old”! I normally discourage people from teaching their children to say “cheese”, because it usually results in fake, “cheesy” smiles.  But not Kendall!  He would say “cheese” and his whole face would light up!  It made my job really quite easy.  Thanks, Kendall!
